“O Taste and See” (Psalm 34:8)

“O Taste and See that the Lord is Good!”

The Psalm follows, “Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” In creating this print in anticipation of Thanksgiving, I wanted to incorporate the Eucharistic elements of the bread and wine in their natural form, which we offer to God at Communion, and so a grape arbor surrounds a wheat field in this Craftsman style piece. These words proclaim that our salvation is at hand. The Incarnate Christ is in our midst! We meet Christ in the gifts and also with our senses in the beautiful world around us. He is indeed good.
